SERIES OF OIL PAINTS ON BLACK SEMI-TRANSPARENT PAPER AND INKJET PRINTS ON PAPER
Inspired by Ray Nelson's science fiction story “Eight O’Clock in the Morning” from 1963 (the story that generated the screenplay for John Carpenter's film “They Live” in 1988), the project is a formal study of the historical and psychological legacy of popular and public architecture in the urban area of the Giambellino and Barona neighbourhoods, two working-class neighbourhoods in south-west Milan.
